Any additional feedback? I purchased two Anytime Upgrades in order to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. On the first laptop it worked perfectly. On the second the machine crashed in the middle of the upgrade. When rebooting various error recovery took place, during which it was stated that the upgrade was being reverted. After the final reboot the machine started without problems. Much to my surprise it did show as an Ultimate edition. I was however unable to access Ultimate features.
One feature was the ability to join a domain. The button is disabled. I then attempted to rerun Windows Anytime Upgrade, but when I tried to start the upgrade by using the menu item in the Start Menu, I was told that the file I guess it is some executable is missing. Any ideas on how to proceed will be greatly appreciated. The last resort is of course to remove all data and reinstall from scratch.
