Do you get good results using it for woodworking? Post by reible » Tue Jul 14, pm Yes they are used historically for things like drywall but now people have started using them for wood and things like MDF. While I haven't used mine yet I do have a project that will be made out out MDF so I plan to give them a try with that. I'm getting a whole new look at woodworking and once again learning a lot.

I don't have a great, or even good, dust collection system for my ROS, so no comments on that aspect. As far as I know they are only available in Aluminum Oxide.

They are pretty inexpensive, and available at HD in numerous grits. I like them, but would be willing to try the Norton because of the Ceramic abrasive. It looks like the Norton ceramic sandpaper scored quite well in this comparison.

All these sandpaper are good but they better watch out as a new sandpaper or I should say abrasive is coming out. This metal abrasive is the future of woodworking.
